EMPLOYEE COUNSELLING ADELAIDE
Confidential Workplace Counselling for Employees and Managers
Small businesses support without EAP subscriptions or lock-in contracts.
I work with small businesses to support their staff through stress, workplace challenges, communication struggles, and the impact of life outside of work.
Supporting Employee Wellbeing in Small Businesses
Many small businesses genuinely care about the wellbeing of their staff, but the cost of traditional Employee Assistance Programs can be a barrier. Employee counselling provides a simple, flexible way to offer support when it's needed, without ongoing contracts or subscription fees.
Employees are often balancing workplace pressures alongside personal responsibilities, family commitments, health concerns, and life's unexpected challenges. Having access to confidential, independent support can help them navigate these pressures before they begin to impact their wellbeing, workplace relationships, engagement, or performance.
Whether someone is experiencing workplace stress, burnout, communication challenges, or difficulties outside of work, counselling provides a space to talk openly, feel heard, and explore practical ways forward
If your workplace does not fund employee counselling, you’re welcome to explore Adult Counselling for individual support.
Why Businesses Work With Cheryl
Support that understands both people and workplaces
Small businesses often want to support their staff but don’t always need a large Employee Assistance Program (EAP) model.
Many counsellors understand emotional wellbeing. Cheryl also understands workplaces.
Before becoming a counsellor, Cheryl spent more than 20 years working across leadership, HR and people-focused roles in small business, corporate, not-for-profit, real estate, construction and FIFO environments.
Having supported people both in workplaces and in counselling, Cheryl understands that sometimes what's happening at work affects home life, and sometimes what’s happening at home affects work.
Employees work with the same counsellor throughout their support - creating continuity, trust and reducing the need to repeat their story.
